Terms and Conditions
-
All instructors are Approved Driving Instructors (ADI), are Garda Vetted and regulated by the Road Safety Authority.
-
All contracts for driving lessons are between the instructor and the pupil.
-
The duration of a lesson , its time and date are between the instructor and the pupil. If a pupil cancels for any reason it must be done as soon as possible. If the lesson is cancelled within 72 hour’s notice a pupil will be charged for the lesson in full.
-
All learner drivers must hold a current, valid learner permit/licence at all times. If the pupil does not hold a valid licence, then the lesson cannot be conducted, and the pupil will be liable for the full cost of the scheduled lesson.
-
Payment must be made at the time of booking, to secure the booking. This then creates a binding agreement between the instructor and the pupil. Your statutory rights are not affected, as to the goods and services you have bought.
-
An instructor should wait for a maximum of 20 minutes for a late pupil. If the pupil is later than 20 minutes for the arranged lesson, the lesson will be cancelled, and the lesson fee forfeited. A waiting time may become necessary if the instructor is delayed due to traffic congestion or any unforeseen circumstances. Any lesson time lost because of this would be made up by the instructor at the end of the normal lesson time if possible, or on a future lesson.
-
It is our best intention to conduct all lessons at the agreed time and date. However, if your instructor cannot conduct the lesson, for any reason, your instructor will notify you as soon as possible and you will not be charged for the lesson. The instructor will reschedule this lesson with you as soon as possible.
-
If at any time before or during the lesson the instructor deems the pupil unfit to complete the lesson, the instructor may cancel the lesson. The pupil will be liable for the full cost of the lesson that was scheduled. See the Fundamentals of Being Fit to Drive on the RSA website: essential-driver-training-a5-mar19-v4.pdf (rsa.ie) see. Lesson 11.
-
A Credit Voucher is valid for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. If the prices at any lesson increase after 12 months from the date of issue, the pupil must pay the balance. These Vouchers are non transferable.
